All you want is Greece

Greece, the land of light with a rich historical heritage located at the crossroads of three continents, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Greece is a uniquely popular destination and an ideal place to stay around the world. With more 250 days or 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, Greece's climate contributes to a pleasant lifestyle throughout the year.

Nature
Despite its small size, Greece has a very rich and varied natural environment with a distinct geomorphology, with strong contrasts and many areas of high ecological value. Miles of lacey coastline, architectural gems, imposing mountains, caves and gorges, lakes, rivers, lagoons, green forests, habitats of rare beauty and unique ecosystems, make up a unique canvas in this journey of life, which is deeply engraved in the soul of anyone who visits.
You know the feeling when you see a beach and immediately want to travel to Greece? Golden sand , fine pebbles and the unmatched colors of the Aegean Sea ...deep blue or turquoise depending on the depth of the water.

Μental and Physical healing
“The energy of the mind is the essence of life”.
Greece has over 800 medicinal spas, with various properties and uses. The composition of the water varies and makes each spa unique. Some waters are considered ideal for drinking, like those from Arcadian springs, which clearly have an analgesic and therapeutic action on stomach disorders. Other springs are considered excellent for skin diseases and chronic diseases of the bones and muscles. The healing properties of seawater, seaweed, or sea mud help you conquer stress and anxiety, and improve your mental performance.

Tourism
An important factor of the Greek economy and development is tourism, which is the main source of income for the country.
Tourism in Greece has been one of the main pillars of growth, with a significant contribution to the labor market and is offered in a wide variety of tourism service activities, ranging from:
Marine tourism, where efforts are being made to attract a greater number of cruise ships and enhance the holiday offer, with yachts and sailing boats. Several international investors have already expressed their interest and have already invested in marine tourism in Greece, recognizing the unparalleled opportunity presented by this high-value tourism product.
City tourism in the historical museums of Greece, with countless monuments, museums and archaeological sites of great historical importance that can be visited by history lovers.
With targeted investments in hotel infrastructure, facilities and tourism services, Athens and Thessaloniki can dramatically improve their image both in Western Europe and in emerging markets, making them more attractive and competitive international destinations for city tourism.
Cultural and Religious Tourism in the cultural and religious monuments of Greece, Greece counts 18 "World Heritage" sites, which places it in the top ten of destinations of historical and cultural importance.
Medical tourism, which represents a highly attractive growth opportunity, provided that qualified medical staff are combined with investment in facilities and infrastructure and the provision of high-quality medical care at competitive prices in a welcoming environment.
Sports tourism, which can help develop existing or new tourist destinations, attract people of high income level and extend the tourist season. In this sector, Greece offers endless opportunities for sports and ground activities, such as mountaineering, climbing, trekking, mountain biking, cave exploration, canyon crossing, horse riding, golf, skiing, snowboarding, etc.
The most tourist product "Sun, Sea and Culture" has always been an important source of income for Greece.

Why Greece?
Ancient Greek civilization is the cornerstone of Western civilization .
Ancient Greece saw the first appearance of the democratic constitution, coherent philosophical thought, sporting events such as the Olympic Games and theatrical genres such as drama, comedy and tragedy.
Greece scores high on all major factors taken into consideration when choosing a new country for relocating, such as quality of life, regulated environment, secure living conditions, access to efficient services, strong public health system, residence privileges for family members, multicultural and multilingual cities, and freedom to travel, among others. The sense of warmth and intimacy in Greece makes you forget all about having to go back where you came from”. These are the words most visitors use to describe their feelings.
When planning a life destination, the first thing you look for is advice from other travelers, based on their personal experiences. When it comes to Greece, there seems to be one thing that most of them agree on:
'Once you are in Greece, you will want to stay forever'.

Investment in Greece
Greece has established a flexible and fast procedure for foreign investors who do not come from EU member states or the European Economic Area (third country nationals) and wish to obtain an entry visa and residence permit for investment activity in Greece.
Residence permits granted to investors and managers may be renewed every five years, provided that the investors and managers maintain their status in relation to the investment and the implementation or operation of the investment continues. In addition, they may be accompanied by their family members who have been granted a residence permit for family reunification purposes, which expires at the same time as the sponsor's residence permit.
An investor applying for a residence permit under this scheme will be required to contribute at least €250,000 to the investment, coming from equity.
In case the investment is not made by a natural person but by a foreign legal entity, a permit for entry and residence in Greece may be granted to up to three (3), depending on the amount of the investment, third country citizens, shareholders, or executives of the foreign legal entity.
For the implementation and operation of the investment project, up to ten (10), depending on the total amount of the investment, third-country nationals may enter and reside in the country, in addition to those who have obtained an entry and residence permit for the same investment project.

Greek Golden Visa
A Greek Golden Visa is one of the most competitive Golden Visas in the EU and is accompanied by the following benefits:
The threshold investment options are relatively lower than in most other EU countries with Golden Visa routes.
You can extend the visa to include your family members, like your spouse, (unmarried) children under 21 years of age, and dependent parents of either yourself or your spouse. If your child is over the age of 21, but no older than 24, and they are a student, they may also be included in the Golden Visa application.
You and your family members will enjoy visa-free travel to the Schengen Zone.
There are no requirements to live in Greece for any duration in order to renew the residence permit.
You can choose to rent out your property after purchase.
You can apply for Greek citizenship after seven years of residence. Greece is an EU Member State, so you would have access to the EU free market and visa-free travel to more than a hundred countries.
You have access to Greek education and healthcare.

Education
The Greeks have a long tradition of valuing and investing in education, which was maintained as one of the highest social values in the Greek and Hellenistic world. The culture of Greece has evolved over thousands of years. In ancient times, Greece was the birthplace of civilization in the Western world. Modern democracies owe a debt to Greek beliefs in government by the people, trial by jury and equality under the law. The ancient Greeks pioneered many fields based on systematic thinking, including logic, biology, geometry, geometry, geography, medicine, history, philosophy, physics and mathematics. They introduced such important literary forms as epic and lyric poetry, history, tragedy, comedy and drama.
Either public or private, established in Greece or abroad, Hellenic Cultural Foundations conduct researches, exhibitions, conferences and education programs, all aiming at promoting Greek culture and its links to the world.
You have several options for studying in Greece. You can enroll in an English-taught degree program or if you speak Greek, enroll in a Greek program. On the other hand, if you are not interested in a degree program but want to do your traineeship in Greece, there are several options that are worth considering. From short training seminars, e-learning education programs, conferences, to full-fledged bachelor's and master's degree programs, taught entirely in English, in Greek, or both languages.
Alongside mainstream schools of primary and secondary education, there are also special-orientation schools (like music, ecclesiastical and athletic lower and upper secondary schools). In addition, programs of intercultural education are provided to repatriated students of Greek origin and to students of foreign or gipsy origin, while minority schools are established for the education of the Muslim minority of Thrace. Last but not least, there are also experimental schools functioning under the supervision of Universities applying experimental methods of teaching.
Higher Education institutions in Greece are fully self-administered legal entities under public law, funded and supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs in accordance with Provision 16 of the Constitution. Public higher education is divided into Universities and Polytechnics (AEI), Technological Education Institutes (TEI) and Academies which primarily cater for the military and the clergy. Admission to tertiary education is based on a student’s performance in national level examinations taking place at the end of the third year of upper secondary education.
Undergraduate courses last typically 4 years (5 in polytechnics and some technical/art schools, and 6 in medical schools); postgraduate courses last from 1 to 2 years and doctorates from 3 to 6 years. Additionally, students are admitted to the Hellenic Open University upon the completion of the 22nd year of age by drawing lots.
All levels of education are catered for by both private and public schools. Public schools and universities do not charge tuition fees and textbooks are provided free to all students. There are also a number of private tutor schools, colleges and universities operating alongside the state education and providing supplementary tuition.

Health Care System
Like everywhere else in the world, there are two types of health care in Greece: private and public.
The state healthcare system in Greece includes services such as
Environmental health control
Health promotion
General and specialist care
Hospitalization
Laboratory services
Discounted drugs and medicines
Maternity care
Medical appliances
Transportation
Moreover, in public health centers, most of the staff speak English.
Lots of citizens choose private health insurance because public insurance does not cover all expenses.
Private insurance can cover what public insurance doesn’t. In some cases, it may even cover all expenses. You may also extend your insurance to cover you in Greece if you already have one in another country.
Besides covering a full range of primary healthcare, it also covers
Specialists’ fees Treatment in the country’s best hospitals
Advanced dental treatment
Elective cosmetic surgery
If you are a Golden Visa holder in Greece, you do not automatically get healthcare. If you do not decide on living in Greece full time, then you are required to get private healthcare insurance that covers your healthcare in Greece.

Health Relationship with Ecology
Ecology affects the living and nonliving environment, is of course directly related to health. The ecological environment in which all living and non-living organisms are formed operates in a particular order. While ecological environments may sometimes deteriorate under natural conditions, they may be damaged by human impacts and may exhibit irregularities. Many factors, such as climate change, differences in rainfall, production conditions and product quality, are all aspects of ecological change. Ecological changes, especially due to human actions, have become widespread in recent years. For this reason, “Think Green”. We must all sign up and be part of that future. So simple, so clear.

Green Energy
The use of renewable energy sources is becoming widespread in order to achieve sustainable living and a balance of nature.
Greece’s mainland is part of an electricity grid that spans over 130,000 square kilometers, reaching into neighboring countries and into some islands near the coastline. In 2022, the mainland and its connected islands got an average of 39% of its energy from renewable sources, setting a new record according to Greece’s Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO)
The massive size of the mainland’s grid allows for communities to consume energy produced in a wind turbine or solar panel thousands of kilometers away. If one part of Greece has little wind or clouds cover the sun, another part with better conditions can step up. Some of Greece’s best spots for producing wind and solar energy are on the islands. Greece is working on a 4.3 billion Euro project to help islands to trade their oil-burning plants for cleaner energy. By 2030, Greece hopes to connect nearly all its islands to the mainland’s grid using undersea cables that cross the Aegean and beyond.
There are no harmful gas emissions in the installation of solar energy and wind energy systems and energy production. Therefore, it has no negative effect on the atmosphere. No negative impact on aquatic environments.
